The Nomad Kitchen

I am always thankful to have been able to travel and study in different countries in my youth all the way to my mid-thirties. Ironically, I also fine-tuned my skills in the kitchen as I move cities, swapped flatmates and finds ways to  meet new people and invite them to my home or vice versa (that is how I met my husband)

Whether getting in on a secret family recipe or indulging my endless curiosity for cultural exploration, The Nomad Kitchen Blog is more about how I view and experience the many different flavours of life from my own kitchen, no matter where I had lived, and whom I'm around.

Since the 2020 Pandemic and we are still locked down, now more than ever I feel the need to somehow reach out and blog a little bit more.  To my friends and loved one, thank you for all the memories.

There will be recipes, my thoughts on certain foods, some cultural delights and few other bibs and bops.

Not all what I feature are my own creations, but rather a mix and pick of what I've read, used and learnt from many other home bakers and recipe books tweaked to my likings. Feel free to try these recipes yourselves, if you feel brave enough.

And let me know your thoughts.
